By installing or using lokcally ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What lokcally is

lokcally is an iOS app that displays calorie (kcal) information for selected restaurants in the Philippines. The core app is free. The numbers are taken from in-store menu boards that Quezon City restaurants are required to display under QC Ordinance SP-2924, S-2020.

lokcally is a reference tool to help you make informed ordering decisions when eating out. It is not a medical device, a dietitian service, or a daily calorie tracker.

Accuracy and disclaimers

Calorie figures are transcribed from photographs of in-store menus on the date noted under each restaurant ("verified [month]"). Menus change. Numbers may be out of date.

We do not include macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fat) because in-store menus do not display them.

kcal values are presented as-is, without warranty. Do not rely on lokcally for medical decisions. If you have specific dietary or medical needs, consult a healthcare professional.

Acceptable use

You may use lokcally for personal, non-commercial decision-making. You may not:

• Scrape, copy, or republish lokcally's data set for commercial purposes.
• Reverse-engineer the app or attempt to circumvent its functionality.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

Restaurant names, logos, and menu items belong to their respective owners. lokcally claims no ownership of those marks; we reference them as factual data about publicly displayed menus.

The app's design, code, and editorial content (such as curated picks) belong to lokcally.

Accounts

lokcally does not require an account or sign-up. Your use of the free features is entirely anonymous.

In-app purchases

lokcally offers an optional one-time upgrade called "lokcally+" that unlocks additional features (Meal Combo Builder, Kcal Budget Filter, and Extended Diary History).

lokcally+ is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no auto-renewal and no recurring charge.

The price is set by Apple for your region and shown before you confirm. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID — we never see your payment card, billing address, or Apple ID.

Once purchased, lokcally+ is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed in to that Apple ID by tapping "Restore purchases" on the upgrade screen.

Refunds and payment disputes are handled through Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. Because we do not receive payment information, we cannot process refunds directly.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lokcally and its operators are not liable for any decision you make based on the information displayed, including but not limited to health outcomes, financial loss, or dietary disputes. Use at your own discretion.

Changes to the app or terms

We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We may update these terms with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
